Reviews and Ratings
Despite some room issues like noisy air conditioning units and unexpected room entry, the hotel provided nice and spacious twin beds, which were comfortable. The service had some drawbacks with queues and unfriendly staff during a conference, but dry cleaning and a welcome drink were available. The location was a mixed bag with missed spa opportunities and average cleanliness but was convenient for events at Ricoh Stadium. The dining experience varied from overpriced breakfast to tasty options brought to the room. Facilities were mediocre.
The hotel offered extremely comfortable and clean rooms with really comfortable beds, which can be hard to find in hotels. On the downside, the room was not checked over after the first night for replenishing towels and tea/coffee, requiring us to request supplies at reception. The location is quite a walking distance, but the rooms had two double beds, providing ample space for our stay.
The hotel was situated on a lovely island offering stunning views, but the noise from late-night gatherings near the lifts and stairs disturbed my sleep. The room was spacious and clean but initially cold, making it hard to rest comfortably.
